BlueCielo Kronodoc 2012 Administrator's Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
Working error-free with external reference files requires proper configuration of the Advanced File Management add-on. Following are some common problems that can occur and recommended solutions.
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
Error message "Kronoxref error: Variable ‘xrefdir’ (or ‘masterdir’) not defined" |
This error can occur if the Advanced File Management options of the Kronodoc web server are not configured correctly. Contact a Kronodoc system administrator. |
Kronodoc properties are not transferred to the AutoCAD drawing title block |
This error can occur for several reasons:
|
The correct application is not started |
To start the correct application requires:
Furthermore, the application that is defined in cadref.ini must exist in the path. The following two things can be done to troubleshoot the problem:
For example: C:\<Folder>\<SubFolder>\cadref.exe –v “%1” This will enable verbose logging of everything that the Advanced File Management program does to the file debuglog.txt located in the same folder as cadref.exe. For more information, see the Kronodoc Configuration Guide. |
Advanced File Management overwrites files |
When using subget or subcheckout to download CAD drawings from Kronodoc, the Advanced File Management add-on will overwrite any files with the same names that already exist in the working folders. Make sure you save edited files to Kronodoc and not only to your computer's hard disk. If files still get overwritten, restore the drawing backup files that reside in the same folder (*.bak). |
